Virginia Defeats #12 UNC 1-0

I didn’t get to see any of this game, so I’ll just point you to the official recap.
This is a big win for this young team. Going on the road against a very good team like the Tar Heels and coming out with a win has got to give them a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.
Virginia stands alone at the top of the ACC standings right now at 3-0 (6-3 overall), something that would have been hard to believe about two weeks ago when the Cavs were just 2-3 and out of the national picture. Since then, Virginia has won 4 in a row, including three games against ACC opponents.
The guys now come home for matches against Liberty (Tuesday at 7pm) and Clemson (Friday at 7pm).
