M Soccer Shocks #1 Wake Forest

The unranked (though receiving votes!) Virginia Men’s Soccer team has just, in the last five minutes or so, defeated the #1 team in the country. Virginia rallied from down a goal to take the lead 2-1 with less than 20 minutes left. But Wake Forest was able to tie it up with only 2 minutes remaining.
The game went into double overtime before Matt Poole scored on a penalty kick in the 106th minute to take the victory.
This game was the semi-finals of the ACC Championships, so Virginia, the 4 seed, moves on to the title game against second-seed Maryland on Sunday at 1pm. The game will be televised on RSN (Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Florida, Comcast Sports Net and NESN).
