Women’s Lacrosse Player Yeardley Love Killed

Terrible terrible news out of Charlottesville today: Fourth year women’s lacrosse player Yeardley Love of Cockeysville, MD died this morning at a home in Charlottesville. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

I won’t get into the other part of the story here – I’ll wait for the press conference at 2pm – but this is terribly saddening story in many many ways and it is still unfolding as I write this.

Dear Old U.Va. sends out its prayers to the Love family and the entire lacrosse community.
