I won’t do much of a recap of this. It is being covered enough as it is. Seriously. It’d be nice if we got that much coverage just because we’re, you know, the best team in the country. Anyway, I’ll just show a couple of breakdowns about the game and let the domination soak into your brain at its own pace.

After the first quarter, Virginia led 5-0. At the half, the Cavaliers led 12-1. After three periods, it was 16-2. At that point, basically all of Virginia’s starters were already out of the game, including goalie Adam Ghitelman, who had a terrific game in the cage.

Here’s how the Virginia scoring went:

Shamel Bratton 3
Brian Carroll 3
Chris Bocklet 3
John Haldy 2
Steele Stanwick 1
Nick O'Reilly 1
Connor English 1
Colin Briggs 1
Tim Fuchs 1
Mikey Thompson 1
Max Pomper 1

The assists were just as impressive:

Steele Stanwick 5
Shamel Bratton 2
Rhamel Bratton 1
Brian Carroll 1
John Haldy 1
Matt Kugler 1
Nick O'Reilly 1

That’s 11 players that scored goals and 12 who got points. Team effort, that’s for sure.
