2009 M Lacrosse Schedule Announced

Thursday, November 06 2008 by Tim

The Men’s Lacrosse 2009 schedule was announced today, and it shows an unfortunate lack of decent home games. The only good home games are against Cornell on March 8th and Maryland on March 28th. The rest (Drexel, Bryant, Mount St. Mary’s, Cornell, Vermont, Towson and Dartmouth) leave much to be desired. I might even be stretching it to call the Cornell game a good game. Other ACC matches against UNC (April 4th in the Meadowlands) and Duke (April 11th) are away from Klöckner and other traditionally big games against Syracuse (February 27th) and Johns Hopkins (March 21st) are also on the road.

The ACC Tournament is in Chapel Hill this year and the NCAA Tournament returns to the farthest place they could find to play the 2009 Lacrosse Championships Foxborough, Massachusetts.

I’m excited about this season, but not so much about this schedule.
