Thursday, September 18th

  • Field Hockey: #8 Virginia defeated Virginia Commonwealth 3-0.

Friday, September 19th

  • Women’s Tennis: Virginia posted a 2-1 doubles record and a 4-2 singles record on the first day of the U.Va. Invitational.
  • Volleyball: Virginia lost to #4 UCLA 0-3 at the Northwestern Tournament.
  • Men’s Soccer: Virginia defeated ACC foe N.C. State 5-0.
  • Volleyball: Virginia lost to host Northwestern 2-3 at the Northwestern Tournament.

Saturday, September 20th

  • Women’s Tennis: The second day of action went well for the Cavaliers who went 3-0 in doubles and 4-2 in singles – including a win by Emily Fraser of the #31 player in the country.
  • Volleyball: Virginia defeated Georgetown 3-0 in the final match of the Northwestern Tournament.

Sunday, September 21st

  • Women’s Tennis: Virginia went 1-1 in doubles and 5-1 in singles to conclude a strong effort at the U.Va. Invitational.
  • Field Hockey: #8 Virginia defeated Ohio 2-1 in overtime.
  • Women’s Soccer: #7 Virginia fell to #14 West Virginia 3-0.
