There is a LOT of stuff going on in the U.Va. sports world this weekend and a lot of it is happening right here in Charlottesville. We have a possible 17 total sporting events, 16 of which involve U.Va. and 11 of which are in Charlottesville. This includes NCAA Tournament action for a couple of teams and ACC Championship action for another. There are six different nationally-ranked Virginia teams competing this weekend. Here’s a quick rundown:

- The Rowing team hosts Iowa in a scrimmage at the Rivanna Reservoir at 4pm (starting as I’m writing this).
- #9 Women’s Soccer hosts Army in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. 5pm at Klöckner Stadium.
- The #13 Swimming & Diving teams host Penn State and Florida State. 6pm at the Aquatic & Fitness Center.
- #12 Women’s Basketball has their season opener against High Point. 7pm at John Paul Jones Arena.
- West Virginia and Princeton meet in the first round of the Women’s Soccer NCAA Tournament. 7:30pm at Klöckner Stadium.
