Virginia is competing in seven different ACC Championships this weekend. Kind of insane. Georgia Tech is far in the lead in the conference, ranked #4 nationally, while Duke is also ahead of the Cavaliers at #18. N.C. State is the final ranked ACC team, coming in at #23. Clemson and Wake Forest are somewhere just outside the top 25. I expect the ‘Hoos to be competitive here, but I would be surprised if...

I’ve made a change to the release schedule for this series of articles. I’m not going to be releasing them on Thursday mornings instead of Wednesday mornings. The reason for this is that a lot of the national rankings don’t get updated until very late Tuesday night and sometimes even Wednesday morning. I want to have accurate rankings to reflect what is going on with the programs each week, so I’ve decided to wait to Thursday mornings to publish these lists. There’s several big match ups this week. #8 Women’s Soccer hosts #2 North Carolina. #13 Field Hockey hosts #2 Wake Forest. Football takes...
