Hoos On a Winning Streak?

Yeah, yeah. It’s only two games. I’m not calling up my friends at Tech asking them whether they think we might host first round NCAA games yet.

But like I said a couple days ago – this is fun.

I’ll let Ben and Tiki do the real write-ups and analysis on this game, but for now, here’s a few pictures. As usual, the rest are in the photo gallery.

I think that was probably our best performance of the season. The defense was, for the most part smothering. Helped that Tech just wasn't making shots.

The offense was solid in the half court, and the transition game was successful.

We still need to work on inbounds plays. How many times did we turn it over on an inbounds play?

Sylven is a beast. 6-17 isn't great shooting, but he was better in the second half. 9 boards and 6 dimes is solid. Great all around game for him, and the whole team.

MORE DANCE TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, great win and at an opportune time. Go get 'em boys.

Let's be honest about last night's win : it was a great game against a strapped team. I need to get the caveat out of the way first. There's no way Virginia wins by 14 if Jeff Allen is playing. His size in the post would have neutralized the roaming of
